Grafitec Slovakia spol. s r.o., was founded at the beginning of 1994 in Bratislava with the ame to meet requirements of slovak printing houses in the area of printing and bookbinding machines delivery .Grafitec, spol. s r.o., Praha and PROGRAF spol. s r.o. were both participating on the ownership of the new company. Grafitec Slovakia spol. s r.o became exclusive dealer of czech manufacturers of printing machines DST Dobruška and ADAST Adamov as well as japanese manufacturers of bookbinding machines Horizon and Shoei.

In 1998 slovak owners bought share from the czech company Grafitec Praha and became 100% owners of GRAFITEC SLOVAKIA, spol. s r.o. A the same time the cooperation between czech manufacturers of printing machines DST Dobruška and ADAST Adamov has definatelly come to the end and GRAFITEC SLOVAKIA became exclusive distributor for printing machines Polly for Slovakia, Hungary and Ukraine and bookbinding machines Horizon and Maxima for slovak market.

In march 2005 company KBA took over production of printing machines in the plant in Dobruška and GRAFITEC SLOVAKIA became exclusive distributor for machines KBA for Slovakia and Hungary until 2007, when from the initiative of KBA new company KBA Slovakia was founded to became and exclusive dealer of complete sortiment KBA.

Currently we cooperate with these manufacturers of polygraphic machines: bookbinding machines Horizon,offset printing presess Ryobi, cutting machines Perfecta, pallet turning and pallet changing machines TOPPY and opto-electronic measuring devices for the Graphic Industry Techkon. .
